Solutions

Built around what companies actually need

I design every solution around a specific operation and its requirements. Some are fully bespoke; others start from a ready-made foundation for a particular industry — which saves both time and money.

Two routes

Bespoke, or from a ready-made base

The difference isn't quality — it's how much of your process is genuinely unique. Most companies need both: a standard core, plus a few things they won't find anywhere else.

Bespoke

Business applications

For when the process you're solving has no equivalent in a catalogue — or when off-the-shelf software covers half of it and you patch the rest in Excel anyway.

Ready-made base

FlightClub

A system for flight schools, flying clubs, aircraft owners and maintenance organisations. Bookings, logbooks, training, fleet and operational reporting in a single application.

Principles

How I build

  1. Shaped to your process, not the reverse

I don't impose a process that suits the software. The software has to fit how the company works — and if a process has a genuine flaw, I'll say so before we cast it in an application.

  2. No surplus features or licences

You pay for what you use. I don't add modules that look good in a proposal and never get opened.

  3. Scalable and sustainable

A solution has to survive the company growing and me leaving the project. I use standard technology, document it, and keep your data portable.

  4. Access from anywhere

Desktop, phone, tablet. One sign-in, the same data, the same permissions.

Cost

Professional work at a sensible price

No heavy monthly fees and no need to commit a large sum up front. I split projects into stages so that the first one has standalone value and you can decide whether to continue.

You get the price and scope in writing before work starts. If it turns out something can be done more simply or cheaply along the way, I'll tell you.

Not sure which category you fall into?

That's normal. Describe the situation and we'll work through it together — usually one conversation is enough.
